Ann Yip

Ann is a Principal Consultant at Aegis Digital Asia, a boutique digital forensics, e-discovery and cybersecurity advisory firm. 
 
She is an admitted lawyer in Australia (Victoria and Federal) with over 15 years in leading law firms as well as in the government sector, across Australia, UK, Vietnam and Singapore. She has appeared before Australian State and Federal courts, and various tribunals, representing a diverse range of clients from MNCs and international brands, to in-person litigants and high profile individuals. Perchance, she was exposed to e-discovery in a magic circle firm in London, and saw how it radically transformed the way lawyers enjoyed their work, allowing them to focus on value-added tasks more efficiently and effectively. 
 
Ann’s e-discovery experience includes leading a legal team at an international firm through their discovery obligations in a highly litigious dispute; assisting a European bank through a regulatory investigation into corporate crime and employee misconduct; and guiding Japanese MNCs in internal investigations. She has experience in leading end-to-end e-discovery projects; managing sizeable, cross-border document review teams, and advising law firms on best practices and compliance with e-discovery obligations.
