Michael Lew is currently the Director & Co-Founder with Aegis Digital Asia, a boutique digital forensics, e-discovery and cybersecurity advisory firm. He is a seasoned technical expert and information security professional, specializing in digital investigations, e-discovery, cyber & technology risk management, crypto intelligence, and data breach & cyber incident response.
Currently, Michael serves as the Co-opted Committee Member & Quantum Security Lead with the Association of Information Security Professionals (AiSP), EXCO member of EdTech at SGTech and Chairman of the Enterprise Blockchain Sub-Committee at the Blockchain Association Singapore (BAS). He is also a published co-author of A Practical Guide to E-Discovery in Asia. In 2017, he founded the AI-driven legal tech startup LegalComet, which was later acquired by Rajah & Tann Asia. In 2022, Michael was recognized by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) as a technical expert for his contributions to cybersecurity industry call for innovation.
Michael has provided expert testimonies in the courts of both Singapore and Malaysia, supporting a wide array of cases across industries such as finance, technology, construction, media, maritime, healthcare and digital assets.
